My Mom Ardeth Horseford 1944

My Mom like millions of other American woman did her part during the war. She went to work at Kelloggs in Battle Creek in 1942. There she worked in the manufacturing of breakfast cereal for soldiers and civilians alike. Kelloggs also made rations for the men overseas and mom often worked in the production of them.  My Dad received a K ration packed by the Kellogg company while he was in Europe, he saved it as a souvenir and still has it today unopened.
